Kilig is a periodical developed by the students of the Master's Degree in literary translation and editing at the University of Siena, edited and printed by Del Vecchio Editore. I designed the logo, paged the texts, illustrated the cover.
The students wanted an art-nouveau vibe in the logo for which I used this font; the butterfly is placed where should be the accent. It's a link to the meaning of the word that is "having butterflies in the stomach".
The cover was intended to be a clue about the theme of the texts chosen, that are linked by the different types of women's figure in literature. I designed an "ideal girl" made of ink that comes out from a pen.
